School Advisory Committee (SAC)

School Advisory Committee (SAC)

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community – the principal, teachers, education support employees, students, parents, and other business and community citizens. A majority of the members of each school advisory council must be persons who are not employed by the school district. The SAC serves as a voice for school improvement by assisting the principal in preparing and evaluating the School Improvement Plan (SIP) and providing input on the school's budget. Council members representing teachers, education support employees, students, and parents are elected by their respective peer group, and business and community members are selected to ensure representation of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school. The SAC plays a crucial role in fostering continuous improvement and ensuring that the school's decisions reflect the needs of all stakeholders.

Our School Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of devoted stakeholders who play a vital role in advancing our School Improvement Plan goals. Meeting monthly, the SAC promotes a spirit of collaboration aimed at enhancing student achievement, improving attendance, and cultivating a well-rounded educational experience for every child. Through shared insight and thoughtful discussion, this council helps shape a learning environment where all students can thrive.
